At Tailor's Touch, garment remodelling starts with an assessment of the fabric, seams, trim, and overall condition. We review what can be adjusted, reused, or reworked before any quote is confirmed, so the plan reflects the garment itself rather than a generic template.
Our redesign work covers dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and selected vintage pieces that need a fresh shape or a better fit. When possible, we preserve original details and match thread or trim with care, but final material availability always depends on what can be confirmed for the project.
Design-led alterations with a reuse-first approach
Every project begins with a close look at the garment, its construction, and what can be changed responsibly.
For upcycling projects, we look for practical ways to reuse existing fabric and reduce waste while keeping the result wearable. Some concepts may be limited by the garment's construction, grain, or damage, so each idea is reviewed before work begins and approved again if additional steps are needed.
The process is straightforward: inquiry, assessment, consultation, quote, approval, remodelling, review, and collection. Turnaround is usually planned within a realistic project window, and any extra materials are quoted separately after the concept has been agreed.
